We love spicy foods! A few years ago, we started growing hot peppers in our garden - jalapeños, habaneros, ghost peppers, you name it! At the end of one summer we had bags full of hot peppers and not enough recipes to use them in, so we decided to make spicy pepper jams. We loved them, and we thought other people would, too, so we started giving them out as holiday gifts.
Turns out that people love our jams and keep asking for more! Our jams taste great just on crackers, but can also be used to enhance the flavor of a variety of recipes - from simple sandwiches to chilies, stews and marinating meats. We love making and perfecting our jams and there seems to be a demand for them. We decided to share our tasty treats and that's how we came up with the idea for Clive's Jams.
Clive was our beloved Bullmastiff who was as sweet as our jams and used to hang out with us in the garden as we grew our hot peppers. He passed away in 2015 and we decided to name the company Clive's Jams in his memory.
